Inner Spaces

Inner Spaces gathers works in combined technique on paper in which the artist, through multi-layered overlaying, the collage principle, and a painterly treatment of the surface, explores the relationship between interiority and appearance. The geometric compositions are not cold constructions but materialised reflections of inner expression: images that simultaneously function as spaces of colour, rhythm, and quiet contemplation. The cycle problematises multiple spatial interpenetrations – the real, determined by medium and material, and the personal, contained beneath the surface. This is precisely why the works function like painterly diaries: they retain traces of process, rhythm, and emotional concentration, offering the viewer the experience of gradual immersion into the layered inner space of the painting.
