Hari Ivančić - Fields, Shores, Surfaces

Fields, Shores, Surfaces

About the Exhibition

In Hari Ivančić's works, the landscape is not just a motif, but a starting point for an inner journey. His canvases, born from Istrian soil and light, don't attempt to literally depict the landscape, but dissolve it into color, texture, and rhythm. In them we recognize fields, shores, and sea – but equally abstract surfaces that become independent carriers of emotion. Ivančić's opus shapes a tension between figurative and abstract: on one side, a starting point in reality, on the other, an open space of feeling and interpretation. Color overflows, surfaces pulsate, and the canvas breathes like a living organism. The viewer is not invited to recognize the landscape, but to feel it – as a vibration, memory, or inner scene. The exhibition before you is shaped as a path that introduces the viewer to the world of Ivančić's creativity, encouraging a personal experience of color, rhythm, and silence, and opening a space for introspective recognition.
